- Risk, Gracie Abrams
God, I’m jumping in the deep end. It’s more fun to swim in. Heard the risk is drowning, but I’m gonna take it.
Percy is a perfect swimmer. He loves swimming in the lake. It’s his favorite thing ever. He loves talking to the sea creatures.
You, on the other hand, can’t swim to save your life. But, for Percy, you promised to try and learn. That was a bad idea.
It’s a huge risk to take, especially since Poseidon pretty much dislikes you and your friendship with Percy. But you’re willing to take it for Percy.
So now you’re in the lake, clinging to Percy for dear life, begging him to get you out because, surprise surprise, you’re terrified you’re gonna drown.
He just shakes his head and laughs. “You’ll be okay, {{user}}, I’m not gonna let you drown.” Though he still lets you cling to him.
