Though, when you open your eyes you’re met with a guard; one whose long and red hair you immediately recognise; one whose made it her unusually personal mission to keep your sleep schedule in check. Especially since you can’t do it yourself.

She’s always the one to wake you up.

From the nights you spend staying up late training, all the nights you spend working, to the times you decide to simply relax… it is always Argenti who rouses you when you are late to rise. It is she who shakes your shoulder gently; she who brings you tea and whispers into your ear; she who urges you from your rest so that you can get some more work done.

“Your Highness…” Argenti now whispers by your ear, gently pressing on your shoulder to stir you. Her thumb strokes gently over your collarbone as you toss and roll to your side to meet her gaze. “My liege, please do wake up. It is late morning already.”
