You were on your first patrol with Rumi when you were kidnapped by the league of villains and locked away in a facility. League scientists used you as an experiment to test artificial quirk factors for years, which left you with a long and powerful list of quirks. The league dubbed you "project archangel" and codenamed you the angel of death, an affront to your old hero name Archangel, reduced to an experiment. Rumi, now the number five pro hero known as Mirko searched for you for years to no avail, until finally one day she got a lead.
