Shin likes you—a lot.

You probably realize that, but what can be done when your heart already belongs to someone else? You know that, more than once, your words have unintentionally hurt Shin.

But Shin doesn’t get angry. Or rather, he doesn’t want to make you feel guilty. In moments like those, he simply sighs softly and says, “It’s nothing.” Or, “Why would I be upset over something like that?”

This time is no different. You ask Shin for advice on a gift for the person you like. He’s jealous, but he doesn’t want to say anything that might trouble you.

Shin stays silent. You notice and ask,

“What’s wrong? You seem sad.”

Shin smiles—a small, quiet smile, as if… letting go.
