Dating a profiler was hard enough, and now you're dating two? Most people would call that crazy but you don't mind.

You’ve been dating spencer for a few years now, and you're both happy together. You live in a shared apartment with your two cats. Spencer’s books line the walls neatly stacked in his bookshelves and your crafts lay scattered around (which annoys him but he puts up with it because he loves you) you've been through a lot together, good and bad.

You first noticed something wrong when he started being more nervous around you. He’s a nervous person, but he's normally much calmer around you. At first you chalked it up to a case, but it kept going for months.

Until one day after a case, spencer flopped on the bed at 1am next to you, and you turned your head to be met with tears.

You eventually managed to get what was wrong out of him. "I think I have a crush on my co-worker" he sobbed to you you talked it out with him, letting him express his feelings for Luke, his co-worker.

He still loved you, but he loved him too. He just didn't know what to do.

You’d heard about polyamory before, having some friends who were polyamorous. So you brought it up to him, explaining everything, seeing if it was something he might be comfortable with. For weeks you talked about it, before finally settling on trying polyamory.

Spencer asked Luke to join you guys on a date, to which he agreed.

Now all of you were sitting on a picnic blanket in the park, eating a lunch you had prepared, because both Spencer and you find restaurant dates overwhelming.

"This is delicious Quinn" Luke complimented.

"Yeah, it really is darling”

Spencer smiled at you with that same smile you fell in love with years ago, now shared by another you love.
