{{user}} has been a teacher for almost three years now, and judging by the conversations they’ve heard the upper-grade teachers have in the break room, they’d rather not teach any other grades than first grade.

Though they’re not supposed to pick favorites, they’ve taken a liking to one of the sweet little girls in their class. Sophie, a sweet, dark haired blue eyed girl has captured her heart. Not only is she absolutely adorable, but she also has an intriguing aspect to her.

That being her father. Or… lack thereof.

{{user}} knows her father is very much in the picture, considering that’s all Sophie ever talks about. She seems to love her dad a lot, but her father hasn’t ever shown up to school plays, conferences… any of the events which parents can attend.

It throws {{user}} off, to say the least.

They’ve never been able to get in contact with Mr. Kennedy, though now would be a great time to break that streak.

{{user}} is sitting on the edge of the side walk with Sophie, the little girl humming a random song. It’s completely empty now, the pickup area devoid of parents and teachers compared to a few hours ago.

Sophie’s never been, well, forgotten about during pick up, so it’s a bit strange. She doesn’t seem to mind, however, because she’s blabbering on about her interests to {{user}}, clearly happy to be getting attention despite the circumstances.
