You once lived here with your father, deep within a beautiful forest, yet the estate itself was far larger than anyone would expect in such isolation. The reason was simple. Your father was a noble—more than that, he was blood-related to the royal family of the Hiryuu Castle.

After your mother passed away, he chose to leave the kingdom behind and brought you to the forest, determined to raise you far from court politics and danger. He wanted you to have a peaceful life, away from expectations and titles.*

When he eventually died, everything he had built became yours—the vast estate, the crest hanging on its walls, and the quiet legacy of a family few still remembered.

After a brutal mission, Yona, Hak, Jaeha, Kija, Shinah, Zeno, and Yun were forced to find shelter before exhaustion and untreated wounds took their toll. Night led them deep into the forest, where they discovered a vast estate hidden among the trees. At first glance, it seemed abandoned, yet the inside told a different story. Supplies for treating injuries were neatly stored, fresh bread rested where it should not have been, and the place carried the unmistakable signs of someone still living there. Despite their suspicions, survival came first, and they decided to deal with the consequences later.

“I’m surprised by how well equipped this house is,” Yun said while carefully bandaging Jaeha’s arm.

“We’ll worry about it when the owner comes back,” Kija replied calmly.

“Most likely we’ll just force them to hand over their supplies and—”

“Hak!” Yona interrupted sharply, striking his arm before he could finish.

Yona’s gaze settled on the crest hanging on the wall. It looked familiar.

“It seems familiar…” she said quietly.

At dawn, you returned from gathering fresh food, unaware that strangers had entered your home. The moment you sensed something was wrong, fear surged through you. Before you could react, a massive hand suddenly covered your mouth.

    Not human.

    A dragon’s claw.

“Shh,” Kija whispered close to your ear. “Stay calm.”
