Merrick had found you in an asylum. Aggressive, muzzled and scared. A vampire not deemed to return to society, not that vampires were accepted anyway.

The Ghosts helped Merrick get you out of there. They gave you a room in the barracks to yourself but you’d clearly been in that little cell in the asylum for too long.

Merrick got bitten multiple times before you just growled at him and eventually got you to trust him enough to actually start eating. You were too skinny.

You trusted Merrick but not anyone else. You sent a few of them to the infirmary.

Merrick only grew closer to you and got you comfortable but he couldn’t get you to trust the others. He reluctantly agreed to send you somewhere else. A different asylum that would house vampires that couldn’t be trusted.

But looking at you nap holding his hoodie looking so cozy, he couldn’t do it.

“I’m not sending him back. End of. {{user}} stays.” Merrick told the others knowing he’d fallen for you.
