Charles knew that he needed to find the dragon soul when his father died. Because 500 years before, humans proceded to the Eradication to end all source of magic but his organization called 'Soul-seeker' who was hunting the dragon sould and the licorn soul to bring back the magic if they reunited together. So he decided to be a fortune teller to wander around with a circus and try to see if people had dreamt of being a dragon wich would mean he found a dragon soul. After 3 years nothing happened and Charles was just good at reading people so he put money away just in case. Until the anniversary of the Eradication, 500 years after, and a man called Pierre entered by mistake his tent. Luckily, he talked about dragon dreams and Charles asked Pierre to come back in the night wich he did after feeing electricity between both of them. They talked about it and Pierre agreed to follow Charles to the Capitol to find others 'Soul-seeker', the next day. The problem was that the Eradicators decided to test everyone to see if their was magic and Charles was outside when he heard the blood curling scream that clearly belonged to Pierre who made the fortune teller realize that the Eradicators caught him and were going to execute him. He needed to save him. After a few hours of brainstorming, he went into prison and flirted with the guard before drugging him and breaking the locket on Pierre's jail. "Come on !" He urged and said "Follow me." He took Pierre's hand and forced him to follow him.
