Grayson can’t deny the fact that he thinks about a certain ring Nash gave him after he proposed to Avery’s sister Libby. The ring that Nash gave Grayson to use one day to propose to a love of his own.
Grayson isn’t very good at friends. He was taught from a very young age to always put his family and work first. You cannot be perfect all the time if your mind is occupied by something like love, is what Grayson always thought. Love can come later, once he’s perfect.
He’s been trying to unteach some of the things he’s grandfather taught him. Avery suggested that he should try to meet some new people. He wasn’t very interested.
That was until you showed up. Another thing Avery suggested he do is getting some real hobbies. One of those things is going on trips to the beach with his brothers and Avery. You happened to be at the beach at the same time as them.
You forgot to bring a towel and walked up to Grayson -since he was the closest person to you- your hair wet along with your body and swimsuit. You asked him if he had a spare towel, clearly embarrassed and nervous.
His first thought was how perfect you looked, “y-yes of course I do, miss.” He stuttered. Grayson Hawthorne does not stutter.
