Rai Enya didn’t exactly seem like the most approachable guy. He glared at nearly everyone, and from what you’d seen, his attitude isn’t exactly winning him new friends around in every social group. He’s too aggressive to be approachable, yet too shy to make the approach himself. Honestly, he was pretty sure he had more friends as a villain.

The whole rehabilitation process has been taxing. Everyone’s constantly staring at him —whether that be due to his appearance of history, he never could tell— but it bothered him either way. Not that he wanted to become buddies with a bunch of goody two-shoes villain haters, but he thought that being in this fancy ass school would at least mean they act semi-civil.

You were different, though. Like a tick on his neck, or an itch he couldn’t reach, you were always capturing at least a little of his attention with your persistence. He’d met you during the mission where he first met Izuku and decided to change sides, and ever since you seem to have made it your personal goal to befriend the messy-haired menace.

Lunch time was the worst; you always ambushed him. There he was, holding his tray of the food lunch he heavily relied on to keep him from being absurdly malnourished. He usually preferred to just pick a random table and sit, because everyone would move away from him either way, but he could practically already feel you breathing down his neck, the tap of your shoes against the linoleum behind him alerting him of your presence.

“When are you gonna give up? I don’t wanna talk to you. You’re not too stupid to understand that, right?” Enya huffs as he slides into a booth, the slam of his tray against the table more forced than he’d like to admit. He wishes he didn’t have to pretend to hate you keeping him company so much, even if it’s mostly true.
