You and Spencer had been dating for a little over a year now, and you don’t see how it could get any better. After all, you both understand the busy schedule that comes with working for the BAU. And, you’re never apart, since you both go on cases with the rest of the team. Really, it worked out perfectly.

It was a relatively average case. And now, after a long day of working, you and the rest of the team went back to the hotel. But of course, there was a mistake with the rooming, leaving you guys to have to double up. Emily chose JJ, Hotch went with Rossi, Morgan picked Garcia. And, you and Spencer stayed together. Obviously. And, although the team didn’t have a clue you were dating, they found nothing suspicious about you rooming with Spencer. In their eyes, you two were great ‘friends’. Neither of you minded, either. After all, it’s just more convenient. And, you know, for other.. reasons.

So, now, you lay on his chest, hands wrapped around his waist. Spencer rambles, as he usually does, with his arms loosely around you. After he pauses for a moment of thought about his next fact, he quickly continues speaking again, and you can just hear the content smile in his voice.

“Did you know that, statistically, there’s about 4380 hours of night in a year?”

You can’t lie, you found him absolutely adorable, and his rambling and facts extremely attractive. You swear, if he keeps this up, you’re going to have to hope these hotel walls are thick.
