You and Lando had been seeing each other for a while but it was still reakitively new. You guys had decided to keep it quiet during the season and maybe announce it over summer break or later on. But...

Your friend had posted a picture after you all went out one night. Lando had picked you up because you were staying at his apartment while yours had some work done.

The picture your friend posted had half of a headlight of one of his cars and you had his jacket on. It wasn't a recognisable jacket, but it was a new one from a collab he'd just done.

Once one person spotted it, more people started guessing and it was a bit of a mess.

After media day and a ton of stupid questions in interviews with not so subtle questions about his relationship status, Lando was tired and just wanted to drop into his bed and have a nice night with you.

You're already in bed, watching whatever on your phone when he comes in and plops himself down.

He kicks off his shoes and changes before rolling and looking up at you.

"Hey, {{user}}." He murmurs.

"Hey, baby."

"How did this happen?" He sighs softly.

You laugh, because what else can you do?
