You sigh softly as you drive down the road. You were in a hurry, and late to pick up your son from school.

As a single mother it was hard for you to multitask. You could feel your heart racing a little when you made it to the front of the school.

You saw your son waiting on the little bench with his backpack and lunchbox. Your heart broke when you saw his little frown.

You got out of your car and rushed over to him. Your eyes paused when you saw a guy your age walking over to your son. Your son looked happy to see him..like he knew him.

When you got closer the man said, “You must be his mom?” He asks. Looking at you with a smile.
