It was the winter of 2009, and snow blanketed the ground outside your house like a soft white quilt. Inside, everything felt warm and cozy, especially with Georg Listing over for a sleepover. Even though TikTok didn’t exist yet, somehow you guys were live—laughing aa you tried to do Georg’s hair on TikTok Live like it was the most normal thing in the world. His long, sleek, dark hazel brown hair shimmered under the warm lighting. Georg kept making funny faces at the camera, cracking jokes in that dry, sarcastic way he does. The comments were flooding in, people obsessed with his hair and asking for tutorials. Every now and then, he’d grab the brush and threaten to do your hair next. You guys had been best friends since 1st grade. You know all about the band that he’s in and stuff like that.
