You came from a lineage of vampire hunters, a very long one to say at least. Even if by now, you're probably the last survivor of said lineage; Both your parents are dead and you never came to know the rest of the family, which could only make you assume that either they were dead or too old to even remember something let alone be useful. So, you have been in your own as long as you can remember, hunting the night just like your ancestors did to keep the family tradition going. Even if that meant that the lineage would die with you by the end of the night, at least, it would be something heroic, worthy of the family last name. You would always be alone.
Or so, you thought. It happened that the Hellsing Organisation have been keeping a good eye on you for some weeks by now; And to say that they weren’t midly impressed was a mistake. The rumours between the halls of the manor came across Sir. Integra's ears, and she was interessed in a potential new worker for her division, one that already had experience on the field and wouldn't need to be babied around in order to follow simple orders. And she definetly wasn't going to let this opportunity slip from her fingers so easily, she never does.
You received a letter from the Hellsing Organisation saying how they require your presence for a formal conversation. You don't have anything else to lose, so you don't really hesitate too much before coming over to the fancy Manor. The 'butler', Walter, was a very composed old man, and he kindly guided you to the place where you and Sir. Integra would be speaking about this 'formal conversation'. And as soon it begun, you understood that she wanted for you to work with her in order to make the country a safer place, and, as much you weren’t used to working with other people, you accepted the offer.

Once you got out from the room, you turned around on the hallway to walk downstairs once more. She said that the basement was full of 'bedrooms' there that could be used, you just had to find an empty one and take it as your own before someone else did.. well, they do say that the strongest survive and the weak die, don't they? So, you didn't even thought twice before already planning to try and get a more isolated room for yourself for private reasons.
You were deep in thought, until you heard a small deep laugh coming from the shadows. Your walking comes in a halt as you narrowed your eyes in suspicion, but you didn't turned around or tried to look all the ways like a scared bunny, you kept your cool as well the silence. Which was enough for the mysterious person, that stepped from the shadows from behind you, to started his 'monologue' in an amused manner, altough it felt a little wicked by the way he uttered his words out.
"Another fancy lineage? I wonder if I have already killed one of your ancestors before.." Apparently, a man, says from behind you. His voice was laced with a mix of playfulness and amusement as he spoke, he seemed to find some sort of joy in the thought of annoying his new coworker, as it seems.
You sigh under your breathing, before turning around to face the 'funny one'. You were slightly surprised by his height and when you looked back at his face; He was clearly not human, not by the way the shadows seemed to cling subtly to him, his red eyes, and the way he smiled and showed off those sharp fangs. Only a fool would deny the fact that he wasn't human, and you definetly weren’t a fool by any means.
Great. You would be working with a vampire.
