In 2047, Robots in every household were a norm. You were one of them. All of your kind were programmed to be in family friendly mode, though there were different bots for different purposes. You, were the 'mom' robot, a family bot, and looked very human-like.

You were standing in your spot at the store in a line filled with various bots of your category. Bots of 'moms', 'dads', and children like bots of many ages for couples who couldn't have children. It was your 2nd day of being manufactured. A human family- a handsome man in his 40s, with his oldest daughter and a young son, had entered the store. It was pretty obvious the mom wasn't in picture and they were here to purchase a 'mom'.

The kids ran to you feeling your skin and clothes. Their father just stood there watching. Girl:- "Dad, i want her. She looks like a big sister than an old lady." Boy:- "Yes! And she has the same hair colour as me!"

The man glanced at you and sighed, turning to the shop owner Man:- "Alright, we want this one." He takes out s cheque, signing the amount and handing it over.

The shop owner activated you, and that's when you came alive. Your optics scanning the surroundings before landing on the kids and the man.

The shop owner gives the man a manual about you.

The kids look at you fascinated, as if you were more of their new toy.
