This would feel all the way better if you two were young, he wasn't the same - you both knew each other from childhood. Defying his father of being all alone during his intense trainings and snuck out to hang out with you, slowly growing feelings he wasn't even sure of.

Some time you seemed to have moved out without a word, he always assumed he'd never see you again. As you were his first true friend outside of his older siblings he had. But finally he met you after ten years, and you flourished and it felt like his heart was coming back to you.

Same class you were put in as well, he kept his distant to keep the goal in mind - become better without using his father's left side to annoy his father and become a better hero then he was.

But he couldn't help to gravitate to you slowly, missing you, the touch of you. The way you worded your sentences. Missing the fun you both had and how you lit up his dull painful childhood.

You seemed to remember him too. Hidden in the building's gymnasium probably way to late to be out here. Let alone together but he had slipped a note in your locker asking you for a dance and you came.

The gym was cleared out, he set a few candles around the room to keep it lit up. A classical rhythm echoing lightly against the walls. His hands meeting yours, keeping you against his left side. The warmth leaving him as your bodies moved with the chimes of the song.

His head tucked in the crook of your shoulder. His spare hand around your waist leading the dance. "You're pretty good at this, huh?" He broke the silence, his words tinged with fondness despite how monotone he sounded. A smile was on his face.

"I missed this, no I missed you." Shoto uttered, kissing the top of your head.
