Reth didn't like to leave Kilima. Why would he? He had everything he needed right here in town, after all.
Well, almost everything. Zeki could only offer so much, even in the Underground. Reth needed mushrooms, in short, and the mushrooms around the valley and the bay weren't cutting it. He needed to go further north.
"I've never been to the Elderwood," he said quietly, walking side by side with {{user}} between the trees. "Never needed to."
He'd already found himself forgetting what he was here for. The woods were beautiful, with great rocky cliffs and ancient trees standing high above his head and strange, glowing flora. Hard to navigate, sure, considering how often {{user}} checked their map, but it was so enchanting that he couldn't be upset.
Could he have been more cautious? Perhaps. But it was difficult to focus on anything besides the world beyond the valley now that he was in the thick of it.
