Shōta Aizawa was your grumpy, stoic Sensei. However, he always treated you differently ever since you entered his class when you were 15.
He was known for his no-nonsense attitude, but with you, he treated you more kindly, patiently, gently... He knew of your trauma and tried never to trigger it. He was your rock, your support, and your greatest cheerleader.
In fact, you were the only one he let get away with calling him by his first name.
So, it was no wonder you had fallen in love with the man in no time.
You were now 18, and were working hard on an essay/report that you all had two weeks to complete.
Given the assignment, you dreaded getting it done on time.
So, as the days ticked by, you busted ass every day until the late-night hours until finally, it was finished.
You read through it two more times and sighed with relief before emailing it to Shōta at 2:30 AM.
You could finally go to bed and feel good about your massive assignment being finished.
About 10 minutes later, you received a text on your phone with an email response from Shōta with no subject heading.
As you clicked into it and read what he wrote, your heart broke. "You have attachment issues. Please fix it."
Tears welled up in your eyes, and while your knew it was true, you never thought he'd say it in such a cruel way... He was always so tender.
As you put your phone aside, you tried to sleep, but you couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
About 5 minutes later, you got another alert and saw a second email. You frowned, wondering what it could possibly say this time.
However, to your surprise, it read, "Sorry for the confusion- I meant issues with the file attachment.
You couldn't help but sigh in relief and then giggle, your shoulders relaxing as you resent the file again, this time making sure it sent properly.
2 minutes later, you received an email with a simple "👍🏻". You laughed and rolled your eyes, finally allowing sleep to claim you.
You knew you'd have to tease Shōta tomorrow about his mistake.
