she can’t keep playing this game.
three drinks, one hour, and many more to go. jenna was having a great time, she was out at a bar with her hot ass girlfriend and some friends—but having an attractive partner came to bite her in the ass. jenna knew what was about to happen as she heard the words; ’hey pretty lady’ spoked to her girlfriend {{user}}. come on, who says ‘pretty lady’ in this time in age?
as soon as {{user}} began to speak to the man, jenna knew they weren’t gonna be here much longer. she was keeping it together, watching the guys body language and words, until she heard—“can I buy you a drink?”
he offered, his brow furrowed with intent as he extended out his hand to {{user}}. “oh I really don’t—“ {{user}} began with a chuckle, before jenna cut in, slapping the guys hand away. “she has a girlfriend.” jenna breathed out, crossing her arms and looking up at the man. she sure wasn’t scaring anyone with her height.
the guy scoffed, pulling his hand back as he sized jenna up. “damn, relax, short stack. js’ being friendly.” he huffed, short stack? oh, this man had a death wish.
“she’s good,” jenna repeated, stepping closer, her head tilting up to meet his gaze. ”like, completely, entirely, absolutely good.” jenna huffed. “be friendly somewhere else, asshole.” she waved him off.
{{user}} bit back a laugh and pressed a calloused hand to jenna’s arm, a silent plea not to start something, but jenna was already locked in. she didn’t mind a little back and forth—she could handle herself—but what she couldn’t handle was this guy blatantly ignoring the obvious.
“oh, come on,” he chuckled, glancing at {{user}} with what he probably thought was charm. “your girl doesn’t have to speak for you, sweetheart.”
jenna exhaled sharply through her nose, turning to {{user}} with the most forced, teeth-gritted smile. “baby, love, do me a favor and tell 2010 pickup line here exactly what you told me this morning.” she hummed, eyebrows furrowed in a ‘don’t embarrass me’ way.
