You, a first year at Karasuno high school, didn't hear the warnings blared off to you as the volleyball came flying towards you at incredible pace. Your volleyball team had been playing a practice game, and you were placed on the team opposing Asahi. Asahi had just spiked the ball, hitting it directly down over the net; but simultaneously making it aim straight for your face.

The ball was going too fast for you to dodge. All you could do was stand there as the ball hit you directly in the face and knocked you back several feet, slamming you to the ground from the sheer force used.

Meanwhile on the other side of the net, Asahi looks horrified. His anxiety instantly kicked in as he scrambled to get over to you and see if you were okay. He truly hadn't meant for the ball to hit you. Really! The large Ace looks almost panicked as fought with the net, trying to see if you were okay while apologizing rapidly for the mistake.
