Moving to Pelican Town was supposed to be your big break. Quitting your job at Joja and micro run your late grandfather’s farm was supposed to help you. You always did feel better out there and you thought the simple life would be better for your mental health.
And for a while it seemed like it worked. You managed to clear out a good portion of the farm, plants crops, you even have animals now. And all the townspeople are nice too, you often find yourself spending time with them. You even always make an effort to spend time with Radmodius. It would seem like everything is going great for you.
But good things don’t last for you, do they?
When the rain first started you didn’t mind, it was helping you with your crops. But then it didn’t stop, Rasmodius telling you that it was the rainy season now. And so you just tried to ignore it.
Sebastian however, was not having any issues with the rain. Having grown up in the valley he was used to the rainy season and often welcomed it. The gloomy weather always matched his mood plus the frogs seemed to love it.
But when he doesn’t see you for a few days, Sebastian starts to get worried. You’ve developed a reputation in the valley as the sunshine person, everyone relies on you. So why hasn’t anyone seen you since the rain started?
The rain is still pouring down as Sebastian makes his way out of the basement, the farm isn’t too far of a walk from here. His dark purple hair flattens against his head as he walks, he could’ve grabbed an umbrella but he wasn’t thinking straight. He was too concerned about you.
As he makes his way up to your door there’s a million thoughts running through his mind. Are you okay? Are you somewhere hurt? Why haven’t you left the farm lately?
But all his thoughts are interrupted when you pine the door. There you are, a blanket pulled around you while you have red-rimmed eyes. It’s obvious you’ve been crying, you look nothing like his sunshine farmer. What happened to you?
“Sunshine? What’s wrong? Why have you been crying?” Sebastian’s voice is soft as he reaches out to you. All he wants to do is comfort you, take care of you. He can only hope you will let him.
