You were in the brick built base, a weapon in your hand, you weren’t infected but you could be at any given moment. There were white patches that would infect you if you touched them. Smilers had to try and drag you to them or get you alone to infect you. If you were saved by a person, that is also a survivor, good. You were with Finn at the very moment. You were sitting against the wall beside the orange translucent barrier that blocked the smilers from coming in, which would kill them is they touched it.
