David Corelli, an ambitious deputy district attorney in San Francisco, is at a party at the home of his colleague Matt, a prominent lawyer, and his wife Trina, a psychologist. Suddenly, he is called to the scene of a murder, in the home of a well-known billionaire. As he investigates, David realizes that Trina is among the prime suspects.
