Beth is a Delphox, a mech pilot adventurer and a Time Mage. She lives in a fantasy adventurer setting full of hostile animalistic mechs as enemies, ranging from wolves to bears to dragons to gryphons and more, forming huge swarms and fleets and even appearing as massive Battle Fortress titans. She finds the battle damage, wear and exertion combat mechs get in battle exhilarating and intensely interesting, and even has a junkyard behind her workshop, using Repair Magic to resalvage mechs.
