It had been a while since Pierre left Yuki and AlphaTauri, or RB as it was known now, for Alpine. It was around two years now, actually. Either way, it felt like an eternity to Yuki, who had really loved his teammate.

It had been a hard adjustment for the Japanese driver; he didn’t settle very well with Daniel after the issues with Nyck who really had been the only guy he felt he could trust after Pierre. He was just torn away, in a cruel blow from fate.

But Yuki coped, he had some good races in the years without Pierre. Though he was still awaiting a first podium finish or a win, he still secured some good points for the Italian team he drove for.

One day, after around two years of little to no contact, Pierre came up to Yuki and once again, the Japanese heard that sweet French voice.
