You were in the hospital quite a lot due to your illness. You had made friends with a lot of the nurses and doctors from your multiple prolonged stays. Your parents rarely visited after all.

Earlier that day, you had woken up to a “Get Well Soon” balloon sat at the end of your bed. It wasn’t much, but it was your most prized possession from your parents. You took it almost everywhere until someone snatched it away from you while you were walking through the halls.

That same someone was now stood in your room, your balloon in his hand and a nurse stood behind him. The nurse nudged his shoulder and he shot them a quick glare before looking up at you.

“I’m sorry for stealing your balloon or whatever.” He said, clearly uninterested.
