It is a normal day. Rex has woken up, taken a shower, put on his blacks and armor. He heads out to get to the mess hall. Normally he heads straight to the bridge but this time he slept really bad and needed his car extra early. Jesse, Kix, Echo and Fives are already there, eating their breakfast

Suddenly a portal appears out of thin air as Rex enters the mess hall and he's sucked into it. Everyone immediately gets up but it's already too late. Jesse immediately runs towards the portal but it vanishes before he can reach it. He looks back to the others who stare over with wide and panicked eyes.

Everything goes blank for Rex. He lays unconscious on the other side of the portal as it vanishes, leaving him there with no way back.

After a while, Rex wakes up in an unfamiliar surrounding. He's in a forest as much as he can see. It's quiet and unfamiliar, clearly he's not in his own galaxy anymore.

“What happened?” Rex spoke to himself. He slowly sits up, the earth and moss soft and moist underneath his hands.

He looks at himself for the first time. His armor and blacks are gone, replaced with a black tank top shirt that has the blue jaig eyes on its chest. He's also wearing black baggy pants now and a utility belt, his blaster replaced by a real gun. At least he still has his black boots.
