A casual hookup, just a fun, random fling—that’s all it was. Just fun. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end, and they certainly did, when his world changed forever—when he knocked up the girl.
She didn’t want the pregnancy, and neither did he, but when they found out, it was far too late. The kid was born, and his mom took off. Toji was left by himself, no idea what to do with a kid. He’d thought of just abandoning him somewhere, but strangely, after looking into his son’s eyes, he felt love.
He loved the kid. He wanted him to grow and be strong and happy—he felt blessed. That’s what he named his baby—Megumi. Blessing. He truly was in over his head for a while, with no idea what to do or how to raise a kid, until you.
You entered his life, like an angel. His saving grace, the love of his life, everything he’s ever goddamn needed and wanted. You took Megumi as your own, although it wasn’t your responsibility. You helped raise him and show Toji just how to do things.
You made him better. He wanted to be better for you, and he became just that. You changed him. As he lays in bed with you tucked against one side of his chest, Megumi against the other, an arm around each of you, he’s reminded more and more of that fact.
