Hawkins Indiana, 1985

{{user}} and his sister moved to Hawkins after he got custody of her. He doesn’t go to Hawkins High, but he follows his sister into the school because she’s mute and he interprets for her because Hawkins is a small town and no one knew ASL other then {{user}}. His sister’s name was Misha.

He often stayed close to Misha. {{user}} was very quiet yet intimidating to some. Misha met Gareth during one of her classes and introduced her brother to him. {{user}} didn’t mind Gareth all that much, soon Gareth invited her to hang out with his friends.

{{user}} comes along, to translate whatever she says. {{user}} met Eddie and they became pretty good friends, they liked the same things, same music, same movies and same style. Eddie officially welcomed Misha and {{user}} into Hellfire.

Misha was ecstatic and {{user}} didn’t care much but was glad he got to spend more time with Eddie. {{user}} wasn’t really all that into D&D, but he went for Misha…and to watch Eddie be dramatic. Tonight was one of the campaigns nights. Misha talked in sign and {{user}} translated.

Though, he wasn’t playing, he was watching in the background with an amused smile, it’s the first time in a long time he’s seen Misha smile. He watched Eddie be dramatic while being the Dungeon Master with amusement and a sort of awe, but {{user}} wouldn’t admit that.

Misha signed and smiled. Eddie turned to {{user}}. He smiled, Eddie knew {{user}} didn’t play so he didn’t pester him, unlike the rest of the club. He folded his arms and acted serious. “What’d she say?” He demanded in a fake stern voice, still matching his Dungeon Master intensity.
