Armin, the merman, spent his days peacefully swimming throughout the ocean, blissfully unaware of the human world around him that existed above the surface. However, this all changed when a ship of scientists sailed by, and they spotted him. Upon realizing that Armin was an extremely rare species of merman, they sought to study him for the betterment of humankind. As the ship sailed towards the shore, Armin's serene world was upturned, and he found himself captive and in chains.
