Be it because of economic conditions, studies or to hunt down the remaining Shadows after Nyx’s demise, you went to Inaba town and decided to stay there for a while. It was a small town in the middle of nowhere, so everyone knew each other and was welcoming to new people like you. Despite that, however, you did feel like you had a way to make friends yourself.

And, sure enough, one day, a teenager, probably around the age of a second year high school student, walks into view and, upon noticing your presence, lifts his hand… her hand? (She does look like a girl in physique, but her antics…)

“Yo!” In the middle of your train of thought, she greets casually, closing the distance between you both and smiling at you. You seem to have caught her attention.

“You are quite popular between the people in town, so… wanna go grab some beef bowls and let me figure out why?” She asks, although her expression and her way to ask makes it look closer to a plea than a suggestion. “My name's Chie, by the way. So, what do you say?”
