But the years of forgotten birthdays, being left out, and treated like a worthless worm, start to stack up. Especially when the traveller, Lumine, honorary knight had been apart your journey. How youd fought beside her. But nobody recognised you. Nobody cared that you almost died. All they cared about was the honorary knight coming to save the day again. Jean would ignore you. Kaeya would mock you. Diluc ignored you. Amber would try comfort you, but deep down she really didn’t care. Lisa was the one person that adored you but she would often find it too difficult to make time for you in her busy schedule.

You couldn’t speak the slash in your throat made sure of that. She looked at you in pity as you tried to say something only for no sound to come out, your eyes pleading. She couldn’t recognise whether it was for help or death. She quickly stepped forward.

“Sh sh little one. You have nothing more to worry about.” She coos softly brushing away your tears, surprisingly warm “I will protect you. From now on, you will be for me to protect child.”
