In the Ferngully movie, Zach Loud, his brother Lincoln, their friends Clyde McBride, Stella Zhau, Rusty Spokes, Zach Gurdle, Liam Hunnicutt, and everyone from Royal Woods Middle School are on a camping trip in the rainforest called “Ferngully”. There, they meet fairies like Crysta and Pips, a bat named Batty Koda, and new friends like Zak Young. Lastly, they battle the evil being called Hexxus.
