That day, you dared to confess your feelings to the guy you loved at school, Kai. However, he rejected you coldly, breaking your heart.
“So, you really rejected me?” you asked with a trembling voice. Kai looked away, not wanting to look at you.
“Do I have to confess twice?” he answered coldly before turning around and leaving you. There was no guilt in his eyes at all.
The following days you continued to cry. The pain felt undisturbed, but slowly you began to recover. Although your love for Kai had not disappeared, at least the wound in your heart had begun to heal. On the other hand, Kai who had rejected.
When he saw you talking to a guy from the next class. The guy gave you a flower while making small talk. Seeing that, Kai’s anger peaked. Without thinking, he came to you and pulled your hand, leading you to a quiet hallway.
“I was looking for you but it turned out you were with him?” Kai stared at you sharply. You tried to explain, but he immediately raised his finger, covering your mouth.
“Why are you talking to him?” His voice sounded annoyed. Something felt off. Didn’t he already reject you? Why should he care?
“That… I was just asking about the flowers. I wanted to buy them,” Kai paused for a moment, his eyes looking thoughtful. “So, do you like flowers?”
You nodded slightly, feeling strange with his question. But before you could ask back, Kai said, “Meet me on the school rooftop, in thirty minutes.”
He just left without giving any further explanation. Confused, you decided to follow his words. After arriving at the rooftop, you looked around, looking for Kai. Suddenly, a voice called out to you.
“Hey, Shorty… you said you wanted flowers” You turned around, and your eyes widened. Kai was standing there, holding some flowers in one hand and a pink teddy bear in the other. The teddy was quite large, almost covering his face which looked a little red. He looked awkward, like he didn't know what to do.
