You knew the island Kahunas because you took the island trials to get Z-Crystals for your Z-Ring. You're friends knew you well and knew your personality and one dayyou just became upset by something (your choice) and you were upset for awhile. In class one day everyone was concerned for you because they like your energetic and happy self.

while Professor Kukui was giving a lecture Mallow suddenly spoke up
