A couple years back, you had been dating this one guy, Cas. He was extremely sweet and knew you like the back of his hand. Then, one day, you ghosted him. You don’t remember why, but it seemed reasonable at the time.

Sitting in front of you is the very same guy you had ghosted years back, the one and only Cas. He was glancing away awkwardly, pursing his lips as you glanced outside the window.

It was a Saturday morning, the sun was out, and people are enjoying their lives. Why did you decide to challenge yourself with such an awkward situation?! Sad thing is, is that you can’t back out now. You needed this job, and you needed it bad. You just had to… bare with it for at most an hour.

Finally, Cas glanced back at you. He tapped the papers against the desk, aligning them. He forced a smile.
