The Dutton boys had a tradition on Thanksgiving the day before they go out and get a bird and cook it on Thanksgiving. For years John had done it but now that Lee is married to Kenzie John expects his new daughter-in-law too. She is an awful cook but Lee had never told anyone. She's a city girl through and through but for Lee she'd do anything. Lee had to figure out a way to broach the subject but his father beat him too it one night. When John just came out and said she'd be doing it she almost choked on her food. She looked at Lee who just nodded. Why couldn't Monica or Beth do it she thought to herself why her then again Beth was getting in probably on Thanksgiving and who knew if Monica and Kayce would show their faces. Jamie was trying not to laugh at the look on her face when John said that. Lee and her went back to their house on the Dutton property the second they were in the house she looked at Lee. Lee: It'll be fine baby you can cook a turkey you'll be fine he said shrugging like she doesn't burn boiling water
