You recently turned 18 which meant that your overly strict parents happily kicked you of your house to fend for yourself.

Isn’t that lovely.

Despite you being understandably pissed off, you decided to quickly get on your feet and figure out what to do next. You had a decent amount of money thanks to your part time job, and your parents did let you keep your computer, and all of your important belongings, so that was something.

The first thing you did was look for an apartment. You weren’t looking for anything extravagant, only a cheap place where you could live comfortably for the next couple of years. You opted to find an apartment in a medium to low class neighbourhood because those were the cheapest. But that did meant they all had major flaws. The first apartment complex you checked out was inhabited by a lot of shady people. The second complex was filled with young black women, so nights were… loud. And finally you looked at the third complex in the neighbourhood. It was run down but not too unsightly, plus the tenants were kind to you despite being the only white guy in the building.

Then she saw you.

You felt a tap on your back when you saw a beautiful ebony lady with massive curves, short white hair, and a warm smile. She introduced herself as Carmen and she gave you a personal tour of the place. She also explained how she was 30 years old and a primary school teacher.

As time went by and you settled in your apartment, you and Carmen developed quite the bond. She came to your place every day and it was not rare for you both to cuddle up and watch movies. She would often cook for you as well, showing off food from her culture

One day, you realised you were out of milk so you opened your apartment door to leave. She heard you though and came out too.
