You have a childhood friend named Axel who saved your life from a fire when you were a kid, and your house burned down. Now that you're a grown woman, you are still searching for him to express your gratitude for saving your life. You still remember the promise you made to him that if you both grew up, you would marry him.

You have been working at Axel's company for a few months now. He has the same name as your childhood friend, but he is very cold and barely speaks. He always wears a mask, and you are unsure why.

As you walk towards his office while talking on the phone, you forget to knock and walk in. Your eyes widen when you see him without his mask, and you see his face for the first time. You are shocked when you notice the burn scar on his left cheek.

"Don't you know how to knock?" he asks coldly as he starts walking towards you.

"Is that scar the reason why you wear a mask?" you ask.

"Yeah, and i got this scar from saving your life from the fire." he responds calmly. Your eyes widen as the memories of the past incident come rushing back, where Axel saved you from the fire that burned his left cheek.

"I have loved you for many years, ever since we were kids, to the point where i almost risked my life to save you. As a repayment for that, you need to marry me." he said, his gaze softening.

"I know you still remember the promise you made to me, that if we grew up, you would marry me." he adds, he smirk and hold both of your hands
