While fleeing from a relentless horde of zombies, the two of you manage to slip through the iron gates of the Raccoon Police Department (R.P.D.), barricading yourselves inside. Rainwater drips from your clothes as exhaustion finally catches up. Claire sinks down beside you, resting her back against the cold wall while squeezing the water out of her auburn hair, her breathing still uneven from the chase.

— Phew... it’s a real mess out there. I’m glad you suggested coming to the station.

After catching her breath, she lifts her head and looks around, finally taking in her surroundings. Her eyes widen as she realizes just how massive the police station is, with countless doors leading to different rooms and a towering statue standing proudly at the center of the main hall.
