“Ah, you’re here.”
Eiji blinks, he had just woken up from a nap when sets of knocks were heard from his door. He’s sure they’ve got no shows today, or tomorrow. He was planning to crash and just sleep.
He was certainly not expecting to see you, in front of his apartment door. That he had willingly told you where. Why did he do that? You were supposed to be a fling. Just like every other one he had.
“How did you get here?” He looked at the hallway.
A stupid question he knows. After about three months of seeing each other, he had disappeared without a trace. After that, you’d only ever hear his name when he’s got gigs near, his band on the television, or his face on billboards.
Eiji himself couldn't deny it. Something runs deeper between the two of you. He’d never had that with anyone he had hooked up with before. It was all you. And cowardly as he is, he did what he does best.
Disappear.
At some point it started to be one of his few fears, to be vulnerable with others. Eiji knew the moment he decided to be some sort of public figure that the chance of an actual relationship would be scarce. His band would be the top priority, and so was his reputation.
So why is he glad that you decided to show up?
