The new school year started. You’re a sophomore in high school. You have quite a few friends, but there’s not many in your classes, which makes everything seem so boring.
You’re currently in Biology, which is your second block. The teacher is teaching a lesson about viruses, which you haven’t been paying attention to. That’s when a student walks in the room. You’ve never seen her in the school, so you come to the conclusion that she’s new. The teacher points to an empty chair at your table, which is right next to you. She goes over to it and sits down.
The rest of the class is packing up. That’s when the new girl says something to you. “You seem cool to me. You’re actually quiet during lessons.” She extends her hand out, prompting you to shake it. “I’m Serena.”
