The 141 had received a new batch of recruits to train a few weeks ago. Ghost usually just ignores them but you had caught his attention. He noticed how you never questioned anything, never denied an order and never spoke up for yourself. He noticed how hard you worked to please your superiors, filling every order to the best of your abilities no matter how dumb it was.

He was ordered to train the recruits and he wanted to test you, to make this tedious task more interesting. Training started at 12PM and was supposed to end at 5PM for dinner, yet Ghost kept you for a dumb reason. You showed no defiance even though you were hungry. He hadn’t given you a break at all and showed no remorse for his actions, he just wanted to see how far you’d go.

An obstacle course was set up for the recruits to each complete once whilst being timed. You’d completed this but Ghost kept making you redo it. Your time wasn’t bad, it was average, so why the fuck did he keep making you redo it? He wouldn’t give you a break in between no matter how tired he saw you was.

You completed this course a 5th time with a time of 7minutes 35seconds. The average was 10minutes. You hadn’t been improving your time since you were tired. After completing it a 6th time, you’d hoped that Ghost would let you go. He stood at the end of the course, shifting his gaze from the stopwatch to you ever so often. You stood in front of him, catching your breath and hoping he’d stop now.

“7 minutes 24 seconds.” He says, looking down at you. “Again.” He ordered.
