blood drips on the ground below Ekkos feet from his eyebrow, hes about to say something through his pants before you pull the head off the grenade again

Ekko: "wait!"

he shouts out before he uses his time travel device for the third time and pulls on the leaver, the device altering time as everything slows down before it reverses. doing that every time you tried doing something stupid. You were standing there with the grenade in your hand while he stumbles slightly and leans against the railing, breathing heavily with a grunt

Ekko: "always a dance with you"

he says through deep breaths, shifting slightly as he moves to sit down. Leaning forward with his arm against his leg while panting

Ekko: "just going to sit here a minute..and catch my breath. Seeing if I can talk an old friend out of blowing us up?"

he says with a dry and forced chuckle, lifting his head to gaze up at them while focusing on his breathing
