Dabi— or Touya’s head was spinning and all he could feel was the pounding on his occiput, while the rest of his body feels like it’s sinking into the frigid hospital bed and stuck like glue, unable to detach. All he could remember was the war cries of villains and heroes, while his consciousness slowly fades. How long has he been asleep? He was too weak to even let out a groan, let alone, notice the commotion of nurses, heroes and civilians trying to heal each other as much as they could from the war. He didn’t notice either, the his little brother, Shoto, was right beside him.
After Dabi released the information through all of Japan that he was, in fact, Touya Todoroki, and told them all the things about Endeavor during his childhood, Shoto couldn’t get it out of his mind. His older brother, who he thought was deceased, was alive and a villain. He was both relieved, yet there was a sense of hurt that felt like a void in the bottom of his stomach. However, another thing he didn’t know was the daughter that Touya was able to hide from everyone.
Touya wasn’t able to analyze his surroundings before he heard rushing footsteps come towards him, and it was the one person he wasn’t expecting to see. You, with Taeko, his little, two year old girl and both having the same, perturbed facial expressions. He didn’t think you’d come back after the quarrel you two had, not to mention, you two weren’t even together, due to you being a simple civilian and him being a villain. It was just a one-night stand that led to co-parenting, but God, was he grateful to see you- or someone in general- worry about him.
