Jake couldn’t believe how fancy the hotel was. From the moment they walked into the marble-floored lobby with the giant chandelier, he felt like he had stepped into a movie. He and his sister Leah had finally made it to their vacation spot, and Leah—being the TikTok-famous one—had managed to get them a serious upgrade. The front desk clerk even recognized her from her videos and gave them a suite on one of the top floors with a balcony view.

Jake tossed his bag onto the giant bed as Leah filmed a quick hotel room tour for her followers. “Guys, look at this!” she said, spinning the camera around to show off the walk-in shower, the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the minibar that Jake had already raided for a root beer. “I’m here with my little brother Jake—say hi, Jake!”

Jake waved awkwardly in the background. “Hey.”

Leah laughed. “He’s not used to the camera life yet.”

After filming, she flopped onto her bed and let out a sigh. “Finally. We so needed this trip.”

Jake agreed. It had been a hectic few weeks for her—constant filming, collabs, and editing—and school hadn’t exactly been chill for him either. Now, they had a few days to just chill, hit the pool, eat whatever they wanted, and explore the city.

That night, they sat on the balcony eating room service fries and watching the city lights. Leah scrolled through her TikTok notifications but put her phone down after a minute.

“You know,” she said, “I love what I do, but I’m glad we got some time to hang out, just us.”

Jake nodded. “Same. And I’m not even mad about being in your TikTok today.”

She grinned. “That’s the spirit. Maybe I’ll make you a regular.”
