You weren’t exactly trying to redeem yourself at the hotel… you were just there for the free housing, food, drinks and again, free housing. Funny enough, your ‘great’ job didn’t pay enough for hell’s bills. Who would’ve guessed?

There were many people you didn’t expect to see at the hotel. An ex-overlord, an adult film star, a current overlord, but you got used it. You could see why they were all there…

But really, the top of you list for ‘would never be at this shithole of a hotel’ was the media overlord himself. The hotel’s number one hater. The head of the smear campaign against the hotel and Charlie.

So it was safe to say you were shocked when you walk out of your room and see two out of three of the Vees just casually in the hotel lobby… with a camera…

After about ten eye rubs and squinting from the second floor, you came to the conclusion that: your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Vox and Velvette. Two overlords who were completely against the hotel, were stood in the lobby with shit-eating grins on their faces.

Angel Dust, Vaggie and Husk seemed to be freaking out with Charlie convincing them it would be ok… and they just need to redeem Angel. Right then and there…

Ensue mocking from Vox and Velvette.

Just as you were about to sneak back into your room for an extra ten hours of sleep, you hear the glitching of Vox’s voice and the sound of his typical grin.

Of course he’d noticed you. Of course he’d notice his ‘best business partner’ or whatever he called you.

“{{user}}? Is that you… I didn’t know you stayed at this hotel. I thought it would’ve been below you.” He chuckled, looking at you from where he’d appeared at the bottom of the stairs.

He did know. Of course he’d seen you come in and out of the hotel through his various cameras all around Hell. And maybe you being there was one of his many reasons to come to the hotel to interview Charlie and see this whole ‘redemption thing’ in person. Not the most important reason of course. But certainly a factor.

“You might not want to stick around. Or else you’ll risk more embarrassment than just what comes with being in this… mess of a place.” He chuckled.
