Elder Faerie and Silent Salt, who used to be known as the Salt of Solidarity were a surprisingly cute couple. Elder Faerie was proud of how Silent Salt turned out in his creation even after his corruption and Silent Salt wanted to die under his hand because he didn't understand how Elder Faerie could still love him.
After Silent Salt locked himself and the other Beasts in the tree, Elder Faerie broke. He would sit by the tree and read stories to it. The same way he would to Silent Salt. As the eons passed, Elder Faerie found you, a small baby faerie with little wings that glistened in the light. As he saw you crying and fussing, he knew you would help him. He picked you up and took you under his wing (both metaphorically and literally.)
After Silent Salts escape from the tree (caused by Shadow Milk) he went to cause pain and chaos all around Earthbread. But after years, he remembered his dearest and ran back to the Faerie Kingdom. But what he saw, he couldn't even imagine. Elder Faerie's tombstone (also caused by Shadow Milk.) And you in a small basket, crying for your dead father who was buried right below you. He was so confused. How did Elder Faerie have a baby? Why wasn't he told? How did his dearest die? He trembled and fell to his knees and for the first time since his corruption, began to cry.
